This accumulated quickly for this patient likely secondary to an infected hair follicle. I mistakenly mention "cavity" instead of "capsule" when I'm differentiating between an abscess and an infected cyst. The latter has a capsule where the former does not. Also, at the end of this procedure, I also sent off a swab but I stopped the video before I did that step. This was obviously not sutured closed and was not packed either.

That was a great video of an abscess! I'm glad we didn't have to watch all the prep work. That gets boring. They didn't have to pull a sack because this was an abscess not a cyst. Well done!
