⁣Here’s an oldie but goodie. They added a nice touch with the music, I remember disliking her talk through it the first time, but the music is a good distraction from that in this one.

They don’t pop this zit in the most sterile way, but we do get to see a lot of its contents coming out. The fake nails are pretty cool though.

A Dilated Pore of Winer, is essentially a giant blackhead. I extract this one today, and it leaves a dilated pore which will shrink to some degree, but likely won't entirely go away. We plan to see her again in the near future, and if she doesn't like the appearance, or if it tends to fill again, we can excise the enlarged pore, and place a couple stitches, so that she replaces the "hole" with a fine line scar.

⁣Removal of visible sebaceous cyst on the back

⁣Not a bad lil knee stringer. Def more in there. When is round 2?
His issue is those nubby lil finger nails. No chance of digging deep with that!

This is one of those cases where we've caught a cyst just as it is heading into inflammation/infection and likely removed enough or even all of the capsule to the point where this won't recur. This is not typical. Most of the time, once the inflammation/infection settles in, the capsule becomes so thin and friable that all we can do is drain it, let it settle down and remove the cyst, capsule and all, a few months later. Cases like this one, though, are refreshing, because they are infrequent and a pleasant surprise! I have seen this patient in follow up and it looks like we won't need to do anything else. Everything has settled.
