This patient is a diabetic which makes her more prone to chronic infection and abscess formation. Large fluid pocket drained. Thanks to my patient for sharing her procedure to the world to help educate the masses. The pocket was shallow and wide but still contained a decent amount of fluid as you can see in the video. Rubbing from clothing could have contributed to bruising and clot formation.
