⁣A nice ear zit with a decent amount of pus coming out. It looks a bit infected though, I would think they might want to get medical attention after messing with it. I wonder if this was formed after a bad ear piercing or maybe they didn’t clean it after it was pierced.

⁣ Simply the best blackhead extraction from an ear I have yet to see. Yet, being the key word, as a true Popologist is *always* on the look out for the next best pop. C’mon, I’m right, aren’t I?? lol

A hypodermic needle is normally used to inject substances under the skin. I give it a different use in general, and in particular for each type of extraction. In the cases of Milia, I make a superficial cut at the epidermis level. In cases of blackheads (opened comedones), whiteheads (closed comedones), the process is different. The keratin and sebum plug is quite resistant to extraction. If you insist on squeezing, the skin runs the risk of being over-treated. It's not serious, but the next day, the client will look as if he or she had faced a legion of furious cats. In this video I try to explain how and why I use the hypodermic needle.

First session in a young man who has suffered from juvenile acne for a year. Unfortunately, the acne has already left some scars on his young, delicate face. My goal is to prevent new breakouts from occurring in order to avoid new scars. Thanks for watching!

Someone asked me how we know if comedones have a capsule. Well, in my experience, all closed comedones, or (whiteheads) have a capsule.
