My name is Arie Abramovich and I’m an esthetician and a huge popaholic myself.

It all started when I was about 9 years old and saw my mother extracting a huge blackhead from my grandfather’s back, you know, the old school way, without any tools just her strong nails and a good amount of rage of a hardworking soviet woman!
From that moment on it became a love story and I was unstoppable. I started to extract blackheads to everyone in my family. And when I grew up I even did it with my girlfriends!
Until one day, I’ve decided to make it official and become an esthetician.
So here we’re today, apparently, I’m not the only crazy person, or shall I say POPAHOLIC.

⁣Joy! We haven’t seen a good earwax removal video in quite awhile! Due to some strange combination of lighting, microscopic vision and reflection of the metal ear cup, the wax has a particularly pretty golden sheen to it.

Never thought I would call earwax “pretty”… but you’ll see what I mean.

⁣This video is version 9 in the my educational series. Yet again, I used a basic wire type comedone extractor for extractions and a USB microscope/camera to film the video (both can be found on ebay). These extractions were done on my nose and face over several sessions. Please note the proper use of the comedone extractor.

This video showcases a couple of not-so-well-known groups called ‘Erode’ and ‘Gardens & Villa’. The songs are (in order on video) ‘Black Hills’ by Gardens & Villa, and ‘Detect’ by Erode. Dr Khaled Sadek removes a deep pilar cyst which has been there for many years. These are common and occur commonly on the back. They are removed from our cyst removal clinic in London.

A sebaceous cyst is a non-cancerous growth commonly found on the skin of the back or face, but can occur anywhere on the body. Just as its name suggests, these cysts occur as a result of epidermal cells, cells from the top layer of your skin a.k.a the epidermis, overgrow in a confined space. The buildup of these cells under the skin results in a “cheesy” consistency and often a pungent odor! sebaceous cysts are typically harmless and have no symptoms, but people often seek removal due to the appearance of the bump or because the cyst has become inflamed or ruptured. If you have a ruptured cyst you may notice, sudden redness, pain, swelling, and heat around the area, all of which can lead to an abscess forming. Surgically removing the cyst can cure the area, but the entire cyst sac and all of its contents need to be removed to ensure the cyst won’t grow back!
